Frequently asked questions

Can't find what you're looking for? Reach out to our support team.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. Unregistered users can convert up to 1 OFX file every 24 hours, while registered users can convert up to 5 OFX files every 24 hours. For PDF statements, the same limits apply per page instead of per file. If you need more conversions, we offer paid plans designed for higher volume usage. However, everyone, including businesses, can use our service for free if these limits suit their needs.

Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?

Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. If you cancel, you'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

What kind of support is offered?

We offer email support and aim to respond to all requests as quickly as possible. For paid plans, we aim to respond within 2 business days (Start), 1 business day (Pro), and 24 hours (Enterprise).

What file formats can I convert?

Convert PDF and OFX into CSV, Excel and OFX. Whether you're importing transactions into accounting software or analyzing them in spreadsheets, we've got you covered.

Can I convert scanned PDF bank statements?

Yes. We use OCR and AI technology to extract transactions from scanned bank statements. Accuracy depends on the quality of the original document.

What happens if my file isn't recognized?

If your file isn't recognized, you can email us a sample file or report the issue directly from the platform. We'll review the layout and work to add support as quickly as possible.

Are my files secure?

Yes. Files are transferred over encrypted connections, processed securely, and automatically deleted from our servers after 30 minutes. We never store your files longer than necessary.

Can I automate conversions using an API?

Yes. Our REST API allows developers to integrate PDF and OFX conversions directly into accounting software, financial platforms, or business workflows.

Do I need to install any software?

No. OFX Converter runs entirely in your browser. There's nothing to download or install, and it works on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
